On November 11 from 6:30 to 8:30pm Sensei Tommy Morris our chief instructor and president of Kobe Osaka International will be here to teach all Young Samurai and Adult Students.
Sensei Morris is one of the most experienced and skilful karate instructors in the world and holds the rank of 8th dan (8th level black belt), and will be here to teach you personally.
Since 1965 he has trained over 100,000 people and his name appeared in the Guinness Book of Records. He joined the World Karate Federation Referee Council in 1977 and was made Chairman in Sydney in 1986, a position which he held until his retirement in 2010 when he was appointed WKF Presidential Advisor. (In other words, he's the one who wrote the rules for karate tournament that you see locally, internationally and at world level).
This is an excellent opportunity for you to meet and train with one of the greatest living karate sensei. It's also the most important event we hold each year and all students are expected to attend, especially those who are planning on testing (you must come to the seminar in order to test).
Last year the event sold out quickly and this year has been similar. There are only a handful of places left, so please sign up at reception asap to hold your place. This is going to be fun, you'll learn something and enjoy yourself. Parents are welcome to come along, watch and meet Sensei Morris too.
