For the last 2 weeks of March, Sensei Jason will be away. Classes will still be running; however there will be a reduced schedule. Please check below for your training times.

Young Samurai – White / Red belts - Wednesday and Friday from 4:45 to 5:30 pm
Young Samurai – Yellow to Blue belts - Monday from 4:45 to 5:30 pm, Wednesday from 5:30 to 6:15 pm
Young Samurai – Purple to Black Belts - Monday... and Friday from 5:30 to 6:15 pm

Little Ninja – White / Red Belts - Tuesday and Thursday from 4:45 to 5:30 pm
Little Ninja – Yellow and above - Tuesday and Thursday from 5:30 to 6:15 pm

Classes will follow the above schedule from Monday March 19 to Friday March 30. The regular training schedule will recommence on Monday April 2. Thank you for your understanding.



Adult karate will be on as per usual, as will judo and also the stick and knife fighting class. [More]

This Saturday January 28, 2012 we will be having our Annual Awards and BBQ day. Bring the family and friends for a fun day at the park.

Awards will be given to 3 students from every class, which include:

Most spirited
Most improved
Best technique

Plus we'll also be announcing the 2011 Student of the Year!

The event is taking place from 12 noon to 3pm at McVicker Canyon Park, cnr Grand Ave and McVicker Canyon Park Road, Lake Elsinore, 92530.

Please bring a side dish, salad, dessert, or anything else you'd like to eat/drink. You might also like to bring some deck chairs, blanket, etc. The dojo will be supplying hotdogs, buns, and some drinks.

There is a register at the front desk at the dojo, so please let us know you're attending and what you'll be bringing.

(It would be a shame if you were getting an award, and didn't come along - we'd have to give it to someone else!)

Congratulations to all competitors who competed this past weekend at the Hollenbeck Invitational Championships in Los Angeles. Special mention to Lawson Lertphraewphun (bronze medal in kata) and Samantha Stewart (silver medals in kata and sparring). Nice job you guys!
